How to Apply
1. Applicants must have been resident in any of the following parishes
Salford Priors, Bidford, Broom, Cleeve Prior or Harvington for not less than two years immediately prior to application.
2. Applicants must be over the statutory school leaving age and be considering some form of further or higher education, or vocational training.
3. Applications must be made on the official form (whether obtained postally or downloaded) signed by the applicant personally and, in the case of a first application, be accompanied by a testimonial from the applicant’s headteacher, college principal or employer, recommending the applicant as a suitable person to whom a grant might be made.
4. Application forms may be downloaded and printed, or are available, upon written request only, from:

5. Whether obtained by post or from the Perkins Foundation website, all completed application forms should be returned by post to the Clerk at the address above.
6. Forms for applicants who wish to be considered for an award for the academic year 2009/2010 will be available by post from 1 May 2009. Completed forms must be returned to the Clerk not later than 15 October 2009. No applications received after that date will be accepted for consideration by the Governors for the academic year 2009/2010.
7. Awards are not usually made to any students under the age of 18 doing GCSE or A Level courses, and not to any applicants who have reached the age of 25.
